Nanjing Geological Survey Center, China Geological Survey Hereinafter referred to as the Nanjing Center, it is a national public-interest geological survey institution integrating geological surveys, scientific research, and information services. It primarily undertakes national basic, public-interest geological surveys and strategic mineral exploration activities; assumes responsibility for the organization, management, and supervision of geological survey projects in the East China region; is responsible for the receipt, preservation, and provision of geological survey data and information from the East China region; and, upon commission, carries out supervisory duties for projects funded by the Central Geological Exploration Fund in the East China region.

The Nanjing Center boasts a high concentration of talent and strong technical expertise. It currently has 287 employees in active service. Among them, there are 254 professional and technical personnel, accounting for 88.5%.
