Chen Xiangqun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor of the provincial government, declared the fair open. Cao Weixing, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

The China (Hunan) Mineral & Gem Fair has been successfully held for three consecutive sessions and has become a well-known, professional, and internationally recognized brand in the mineral and gemstone sector. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the scientific exploration, development, and utilization of mineral and gemstone resources as well as the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
