I. Supply of State-Owned Construction Land
The national supply of state-owned construction land was 53.4. 100,000 hectares, a decrease of 12.5% year-on-year. Among these, land used for industrial and mining purposes and warehousing totaled 125,000 hectares, down 15.2% year-on-year; land for real estate development totaled 120,000 hectares, down 20.9% year-on-year; and other land uses, including infrastructure, totaled 289,000 hectares, down 7.1% year-on-year.
II. Monitoring of Land Prices in Major Cities
2015 At the end of the fourth quarter of the year, the average land prices in 105 major monitored cities nationwide were as follows: 3,633 yuan per square meter for comprehensive use, 6,729 yuan per square meter for commercial use, 5,484 yuan per square meter for residential use, and 760 yuan per square meter for industrial use. The quarter-on-quarter growth rates for these four types of land were 0.74%, 0.57%, 1.14%, and 0.29%, respectively; the year-on-year growth rates were 3.16%, 2.70%, 3.92%, and 2.38%, respectively.
III. Status of Geological Exploration Investment
National investment in geological exploration of solid mineral resources totaled 326.1. RMB 100 million, a year-on-year decrease of 18.9%. Among this amount, central government fiscal investment totaled RMB 6.97 billion, down 16.2% year-on-year; local government fiscal investment reached RMB 9.48 billion, down 1.5% year-on-year; and social capital investment amounted to RMB 16.16 billion, down 27.7% year-on-year. A total of 144 new mineral deposits were discovered, including 39 large-scale deposits, 40 medium-scale deposits, and 65 small-scale deposits.
IV. Status of Mineral Rights Transfer
A total of 948 exploration rights were granted throughout the year. The number of mining rights transferred decreased by 25.4% year-on-year, with transfer revenues totaling 1.37 billion yuan, down 77.0% year-on-year. The number of mining rights transferred was 2,524, up 8.6% year-on-year, and the transfer revenues amounted to 8.78 billion yuan, up 39.6% year-on-year.
V. Situation of Geological Hazard Prevention and Control
A total of 8,223 geological disasters occurred nationwide. In total, the disasters resulted in 229 deaths, 58 missing persons, and 138 injuries, with direct economic losses amounting to 2.49 billion yuan. Compared with the same period last year, the number of geological disasters, the number of deaths and missing persons, and the direct economic losses all decreased, falling by 24.6%, 28.3%, and 54.0% respectively year-on-year. The situation regarding the prevention and control of geological disasters is better than in previous years. Nationwide, a total of 481 geological disasters were successfully forecasted, helping to prevent injuries to 18,884 people and averting direct economic losses totaling 530 million yuan.
