A report released by Anglo American indicates that in the first half of 2022, the company’s nickel production decreased by 5% year-on-year to 19,600 tons, primarily due to reduced ore grades resulting from recently resolved permit delays, as well as the impact of heavy rainfall and unplanned maintenance. In the first half of 2022, the company’s nickel sales volume totaled 16,800 tons.
