On April 3, 2022, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy published a notice in the Official Gazette announcing the final ruling on the first sunset review of the anti-dumping measures imposed on ferrosilicomanganese (Spanish: ferrosilicomanganeso) originating in or imported from India. The ruling decided to maintain the anti-dumping measures originally determined in the final ruling issued on October 18, 2016. These measures took effect on October 19, 2021, and will remain in force for a period of five years. The tariff identification codes (TIGIE) for the products concerned are 7202.30.01 and 9802.00.13.
　　On September 7, 2015, Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation into ferromanganese silicon originating in or imported from India. On March 29, 2016, Mexico issued a preliminary ruling in this case, imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty of 43.17% on the products concerned. On October 18, 2016, Mexico issued a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on the products from India, imposing an anti-dumping duty of 40.25% on these products. On October 5, 2021, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy announced that, at the request of the Mexican company Compañía Minera Autlán, S.A.B. de C.V., it had initiated the first sunset review investigation into the products from India subject to the anti-dumping measures.
