According to a report by the BNAmericas website, Brazil and Germany recently signed a cooperation agreement on the exploration and mining of mineral resources.
　　In a statement, Brazil’s Minister of Mines and Energy Alexandre Silveira said, “Brazil is one of the countries in the world with the greatest variety and quantity of mineral resources. Through this partnership, we will exchange technologies and experiences related to the integrated upstream and downstream aspects of the mining industry, thereby promoting the development of the mining sector.”
　　“We are seeking foreign investment and international partnerships, striving to ensure that the mining industry becomes safer and more sustainable, thereby driving the development of the entire mining sector,” he added.
　　According to the agreement, the two countries commit to strengthening cooperation across the entire mining industry value chain, including research, exploration, development, beneficiation, processing, and recycling.
