11 Moon 12 On [date], the 7th Congress of Valuers, jointly organized by the China Association of Asset Appraisers and the World Federation of Valuation Organizations, was solemnly held in Beijing. Xu Hongcai, member of the Party Leadership Group and Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Finance, attended the congress and delivered a speech. Also present were He Bangjing, President of the China Association of Asset Appraisers, and Lin Lanyuan, President of the World Federation of Valuation Organizations. (Lim Lan Yuan) In addition, leading experts from the asset valuation industry and academia both at home and abroad delivered keynote speeches. The conference was chaired by Zhang Guochun, Vice Chairman of the World Federation of Valuation Organizations and Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Association of Asset Appraisers.  

Representatives from government departments including the National People’s Congress, the Ministry of Finance, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission; international appraisal organizations such as the World Federation of Appraisers, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (UK), the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers, the International Association of Business Valuation Analysts, the Australian Asset Management Institute, and the American Society of Appraisers; secretaries-general of the China Association of Asset Appraisers and various local appraisal associations; leaders of asset appraisal disciplines from selected domestic universities; and representatives from well-known domestic asset appraisal firms—altogether... 170 Others also attended this conference.
