In August 2015, the 16th Session of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress reviewed the “Draft Law of the People’s Republic of China on Asset Valuation (Third Draft for Deliberation).” Currently, this draft has been published on the website of the National People’s Congress of China (www.npc.gov.cn) and is open to public comments. The deadline for submitting comments is October 7, 2015. To reflect industry demands, all valuation agencies are requested to organize relevant personnel to carefully study the draft and submit their proposed amendments. Please send your comments (including an electronic version) to the Association’s Comprehensive Technical Department before September 30. At the same time, each valuation agency is also required to independently submit its amendment suggestions via the National People’s Congress website by October 7.
