As required, the applying entity must have undertaken or participated in research, mineral exploration and development, or the formulation and revision of technical standards related to the proposed project. It should possess the requisite capabilities, established working foundation, and a certain reserve of technical documentation to carry out the project’s research. Its scientific research level must be recognized by the industry. Furthermore, the principal investigator of the project is required to hold a senior professional technical title and have relevant experience in research and mineral exploration and development.
