2. Each exhibition group is unique.
This exhibition will feature 25 distinctive exhibitor groups, collectively occupying 1,038 booths—accounting for 38.4% of the total number of booths. Among them are the Diamond Exhibition Group, the Jade Carving Masters Exhibition Group, the Taiwan Exhibition Group, the Hong Kong Exhibition Group, the Shuibei Exhibition Group, the Jinli Exhibition Group, the East China Sea Crystal Exhibition Group, the Lixin Exhibition Group, and the Huanglong Jade Exhibition Group, each with its own unique characteristics. Below are the highlights of some of the most representative exhibitor groups at this exhibition:
1) Independent Jewelry Designer Pavilion: Building China’s Original Jewelry Design Power
To foster deep integration between jewelry cultural creativity, design services, and industry enterprises, to promote designers’ visibility, and to enhance the influence and innovation-driven force of jewelry designers across the entire industry, the organizers have brought together 20 outstanding independent jewelry designers and jewelry artists from China to jointly build a powerful force for original Chinese jewelry design. The designers’ exhibition group will be showcased in Hall 3 on the second floor, presenting designer works that exude unique styles and artistic charm. During the expo, a forum for Chinese and international jewelry designers will also be held, enabling a vibrant exchange of ideas and designs, bridging art and commerce, and unlocking even more possibilities for design.
2) The Amber Pavilion brings together countless treasures, frozen in time for millions of years, captivating and stunning.
In recent years, amber collecting has become increasingly popular. Thanks to its accessibility and relatively low investment threshold, amber collecting has won the favor of both consumers and investors. In response to market trends and the strong demand from amber enthusiasts, the Amber Branch of the China Jewelry & Jade Ornament Industry Association—established just at the beginning of this year—has invited leading wholesale suppliers such as Yubao Accessories, Rundian Amber, Huru Amber, Linlang Amber, Linlong Amber, Zhenpin Old Amber, Zhou Jiafu Amber, and Tan Zhanggui Amber to participate in this Shanghai exhibition. The amber exhibitors are located in Hall 3 on the second floor. The products they’re showcasing include pendants, bead necklaces, hand-held ornaments, decorative pieces, and more—offering visitors the finest quality, the most diverse styles, the most exquisite craftsmanship, and unbeatable value for money.
3) Vibrant and dazzling diamond and colored gemstones—luxurious lineup aligns with international standards.
The Shanghai International Jewelry & Gem Fair is the most internationally oriented professional jewelry exhibition among China’s three major international jewelry fairs—Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen—on the Chinese mainland. This year’s exhibition features nearly 300 exhibitors from around the world as well as from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, with over 576 booths, accounting for 21.3% of the total booth space.
Colored gemstones and diamonds are highly sought after for their vivid and dazzling colors, and their market has boomed in recent years—especially large-carat specimens have become a hard currency among international collectors.
Organized by the Shanghai Diamond Exchange, the “Diamond Pavilion” brings together diamond wholesalers from around the globe—including Zhuoming, Segil, Qingtian Diamonds, and Huabi Diamonds—offering a wide range of diamonds with perfect cuts and complete specifications, providing an ideal purchasing platform for both industry insiders and external buyers.
The luxurious gemstone lineup—featuring the International Colored Gemstone Association Pavilion (ICA), the Sri Lankan Pavilion, the Israeli Pavilion, the Australian Opal Pavilion, the Shuibei Colored Gemstone Pavilion, and brands such as Paul Wild Jewelry, GEMS TRADING, Yongtai Hua, Manny Star, and Jingxing Jewelry—will immerse you in the dazzling brilliance of colored gems. Among them are a 57-carat Paraíba tourmaline, 34.67-carat Ethiopian opal earrings, a 463-carat opal necklace, a 142.80-carat grossular garnet set, a 78.83-carat spessartite garnet, and a 126.68-carat tanzanite—all sure to captivate your eyes (Paul Wild, Booth No.: 2O19-2O22).
In addition to international jewelers, the domestic exhibitor “Jin Zhan Cai Bao Hui” (Booths 1M01–1M28), a newcomer to the colored gemstone industry, is making its debut at this jewelry show, bringing along numerous well-known colored gemstone brands. The participating brands include: Cheng Yu Jewelry, Nan Fei Gems, Jing Hua Amber, Yu Qi Jewelry, Xin Tong Tai Jewelry, Jing Yi Xuan Jewelry, Ai Rui Si Jewelry, Di Ou Nuo Jewelry, Dai Si Lin Jewelry, and Pu Li Jewelry. Each company will showcase its treasured pieces as well as its latest seasonal products. We can’t wait to see how “China Jewelry” performs on the international stage.

4) Hong Kong and Taiwan each boast their own unique charm, and their design craftsmanship is highly acclaimed.
Design from Taiwan and craftsmanship from Hong Kong have consistently been the focal points of previous exhibitions. This time, the “Taiwan Pavilion,” composed of numerous Taiwanese enterprises, is once again making its debut in Shanghai, occupying over 160 booths. It will showcase Taiwan’s world-renowned jade and coral jewelry, seamlessly blended with exquisite designs, offering you an excellent opportunity to select the perfect gift as Mother’s Day approaches. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong Jewellery Manufacturers Association has also organized a delegation of 100 booths this time, wholeheartedly presenting Hong Kong’s superb craftsmanship and refined designs. With their distinct charms, these two exhibition groups enable you to experience the unique allure of jewelry from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and beyond—all without leaving Shanghai!
5) Jade carving masters demonstrate extraordinary craftsmanship; the Haipai carving technique is unparalleled.
The “Exhibition of Works by China’s Master Jade Carvers,” organized by the Shanghai Gem and Jewelry Association (Booths 2F01-2F10 & 2E01-22), received rave reviews after its debut last year. This year, we will invite even more of China’s top jade-carving masters to showcase their most representative works—pieces that vividly embody the distinctive characteristics of contemporary Haipai jade-carving techniques. We are confident that this year’s “Exhibition of Works by China’s Master Jade Carvers” will once again offer visitors a feast for the eyes.
6) Mineral gems—masterpieces of nature, brilliantly showcasing nature’s colorful treasures.
The “Mineral Gems and Fossil Exhibition Area” (2G01-2G10) has added a touch of “authenticity straight from nature” to the 2015 Shanghai International Jewelry & Gem Fair, injecting a fresh wave of simplicity and authenticity into China’s high-end collectibles market. This year’s “Mineral Gems and Fossil Exhibition Area” features exhibits spanning a wide variety of mineral gems and fossils, including natural gold, raw jadeite, aquamarine, emerald, scheelite, stibnite, and azurite, among others. These extraordinary and vividly colored mineral fossils bear witness to nature’s dramatic transformations over time and will take visitors on a colorful and magical journey through the wonders of the natural world.
