Recently, the National Key Research and Development Program “ Deep Earth Resource Exploration and Mining ” The first batch of projects approved under the key special program 11 The project has gradually entered the stage of initiation and implementation. 10 Moon 9 Day, “ Deep Processes and Material Responses of Intracontinental Mineralization Systems in South China ” The project launch and the feasibility study meeting for the research plan were held in Beijing. This project represents the most systematic, comprehensive, and extensive integrated study conducted to date on the basic geology and mineralization processes in South China. The project is led by the Institute of Mineral Resources at the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, with participation from institutions under the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the China Geological Survey, and geological exploration agencies from relevant provinces. 20 units participating, total funding 2.25 100 million yuan, including special funds from the central government finance. 1.15 100 million yuan, with an implementation period of 2016 Year 7 Moon ~2020 Year 12 Month.
According to the introduction, the project is located in South China. 4 a mineralization belt and 3 The ore concentration area serves as the primary focus, with an emphasis on the deep processes of Mesozoic intracontinental distinctive mineralization systems and “ end point ” Taking the effect as the core and using deep seismic reflection technology as the leading approach, according to... “ Three-dimensional structure, deep processes, substance migration, spatiotemporal patterns, exploration demonstration ” The research focuses on the design of a comprehensive innovation chain, with particular emphasis on the lithospheric structure, material and tectonic evolution of the intracontinental mineralization systems in South China; the formation mechanisms, material composition, and spatiotemporal distribution of the Mesozoic granitic provinces in South China; the intracontinental mineralization systems and end-effect phenomena in the Mesozoic period in South China; and the three-dimensional structural characteristics of typical ore concentration areas as well as deep-prospecting predictions. This research will be conducted through multidisciplinary integrated studies centered on deep exploration. “ Point, line, and plane ” By integrating multiple approaches, we aim to reveal the three-dimensional structure of the lithosphere and the compositional characteristics of the South China Block, as well as the deep-process mechanisms and influencing factors behind the formation of the Mesozoic intracontinental granitic provinces. We will elucidate the mechanisms governing the migration of ore-forming materials, the massive enrichment of metals, and the concentrated bursts of mineralization. We will interpret the formation and evolutionary patterns of distinctive ore-forming systems under multi-block and complex tectonic settings, and develop a theoretical framework for intracontinental mineralization. Furthermore, we will thoroughly investigate the geological conditions and processes that lead to mineralization. “ end point ” Structure ( 5 kilometers) and ore-forming effects, and establish mineral concentration zones. “ Transparency ” Detection technology system, enabling 3 A mineral concentration area 3000 Rice “ Transparency ”。
It is reported that South China is rich in mineral resources. “ Great Granary ” Among these, reserves of tungsten, tin, antimony, and bismuth rank first in the world; reserves of rare metals such as copper, uranium, vanadium, titanium, mercury, niobium, and tantalum rank first nationwide; and reserves of lead, zinc, gold, silver, and platinum-group elements all rank among the top in the country. The mineral resources of South China hold an extremely important position for China’s economic and social development. “ Deep Processes and Material Responses of Intracontinental Mineralization Systems in South China ” The project’s outcomes will greatly advance the theory of orogenic mineralization within continental interiors, effectively guide the deployment of deep mineral exploration efforts in eastern China, facilitate major breakthroughs in deep mineral discovery, and promote the sustainable development of the mining economy in eastern China. Moreover, these outcomes hold significant practical importance for extending the lifespan of aging mines, maintaining social stability, and creating additional employment opportunities.
At the seminar, numerous experts and academicians from institutions including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the China Geological Survey, the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Northwest University, the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) posed questions and conducted a thorough review of the project’s implementation plan.
