Led and completed by the Beijing Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy “ Research on Safety Control Technology for High-Flow, High-Concentration Backfilling in Ultra-Large-Scale Metal Mines ” The project recently passed the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements, hosted by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association in Beijing. The experts on the evaluation panel unanimously agreed that the three technological achievements submitted for evaluation are highly innovative, technologically advanced, and deliver significant economic and social benefits. All of them have reached internationally advanced levels and hold great potential for wide-scale promotion and application.
It is understood that, “ Research on Safety Control Technology for High-Flow, High-Concentration Backfilling in Ultra-Large-Scale Metal Mines ” Belongs to the State Administration of Work Safety. “ Four batches ” The project has developed a set of safety technologies to ensure the uniform preparation of filling slurry, fault diagnosis and safety assurance technologies for pipeline transportation of fill materials, as well as in-situ mechanical analysis and comprehensive quality evaluation methods for filled bodies. These advancements have led to the establishment of a safety control technology system tailored for high-flow, high-concentration filling operations in ultra-large-scale underground metal mines. In addition, the "Safety Technical Specifications for Tailings Filling in Ultra-Large-Scale Underground Metal Mines" has been compiled.
Cai Meifeng, head of the Achievement Evaluation Group and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, gave high praise to the research findings. He stated that this technological achievement has made breakthrough progress in addressing the challenges of filling ultra-large-scale underground metal mines and developing underground rail transportation technologies, laying a solid foundation for the engineering design of such mines. This technological breakthrough will strongly promote advancements in safe filling technologies for metal mines and play a crucial role in achieving safe and efficient large-scale mining operations.
