    Molybdenum is a silvery-white, malleable metal with excellent properties, including high strength, high melting point, high hardness, good thermal and electrical conductivity, resistance to abrasion, a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and strong corrosion resistance. It is highly irreplaceable. In nature, there are over 30 different molybdenum-bearing minerals; among these, molybdenite is the most commercially valuable, followed by wulfenite and molybdenite sulfide. Additionally, in the oxidation zones of molybdenum deposits, minerals such as wulfenite, ferromolybdenite, molybdenite-calcite, molybdenite-lead ore, and molybdenum-bearing goethite are commonly found.
