To standardize the fee-charging practices of tax consulting firms, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of both parties involved, and promote the healthy development of the certified tax advisor service industry, we have, after careful deliberation, formulated the “Administrative Measures for Fee Charging by Tax Consulting Firms.” These measures are now being circulated to you and shall take effect as of February 15, 2009. The “Notice on Regulating Issues Concerning Fees for Tax Agency Services,” issued jointly by the former State Planning Commission and the State Administration of Taxation (Document No. [1999] 2370 of the Price Bureau), shall be repealed as of the date this measure comes into force.
