According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in April, the value-added of the nonferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 7.4% year-on-year, and the cumulative value-added for the period from January to April rose by 7.0% year-on-year. In April, the output of ten types of nonferrous metals reached 6.04 million tons, up 6.1% year-on-year; the cumulative output from January to April totaled 24.13 million tons, representing a cumulative year-on-year increase of 7.7%.
Among them, electrolytic aluminum production in April reached 3.33 million tons, an increase of 0.8% year-on-year; from January to April, electrolytic aluminum production totaled 13.32 million tons, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 3.9%.
