Recently, the Xi'an Mineral Resources Investigation Center of the China Geological Survey has made a new discovery in the Dalu Rigu Gou area of Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province: a newly identified antimony mineralization alteration zone and one delineated antimony ore body, marking significant progress in mineral exploration.
　　Since 2023, the Xi'an Mineral Resources Center has been focusing on advancing a new round of strategic actions for breakthroughs in mineral exploration. It is leading the implementation of the second-level project “Investigation and Evaluation of Prospecting Targets for Gold, Antimony, Lithium, and Beryllium Deposits,” adhering to technological innovation and broadening exploration approaches. Building on the summarized geological patterns of the Beiqinling Gaolingou-Wulichuan antimony-gold mineralization belt, the center has placed particular emphasis on the investigation and study of near-north-south trending ore-controlling structures, delineating three prospective antimony-gold exploration targets. Furthermore, a new antimony-mineralized alteration zone measuring approximately 1,000 meters in length and 4 meters in width has been discovered south of the Cai'ao medium-sized antimony deposit, in the Daluoriji Gully area. Drilling operations have confirmed one antimony orebody within this zone, with preliminary estimates indicating potential antimony resources of 3,500 tons. The orebody exhibits significant exploration potential along both its strike and dip directions, suggesting a medium-scale prospecting outlook. This discovery has further expanded the exploration potential for antimony and gold within the mineralization belt.
　　Next, the Xi'an Mineral Resources Center will continue to strengthen the integration of its achievements, intensify scientific and technological research, expand its mineral exploration results, and promote the commercialization of these findings, striving to make new contributions in the new round of strategic actions for breakthroughs in mineral exploration.
