Tudor Gold Corp. announced that the first four drill holes in its 2024 exploration program at the Treaty Creek project, located in the heart of the Golden Triangle in British Columbia, Canada, have encountered promising mineralization.
The current drilling program is planned to reach a total of 10,000 meters, and 6,174 meters have already been completed. The company plans to finish the drilling program in the northeastern part of the Goldstorm deposit by the end of August.
The first four drill holes are targeting the “Supercell-One Zone” (SC-1), a significant ore deposit discovered earlier this year. This deposit is characterized by high-grade mineralization, and within the currently defined ore body—800 meters in length and 400 meters in depth—three parallel structures remain unexplored and uncontrolled.
The mineralization encountered in borehole GS-24-181 is as follows:
◎Section SC-1A: Mineralization encountered over a 2-meter interval, with a gold-equivalent grade of 9.02 grams per ton (gold: 8.97 g/t, silver: 3.73 g/t, copper: 0.01%).
◎SC-1B: Mineralization encountered over 3 meters, with a gold-equivalent grade of 11.05 grams per ton (gold 8.28 g/t, silver 126.50 g/t, copper 1.21%).
◎SC-1C: Mineralization encountered over 6 meters, with a gold-equivalent grade of 5.31 grams per ton (gold 5.02 g/t, silver 3.32 g/t, copper 0.21%).
The mineralization encountered in borehole GS-24-183-W1 is as follows:
◎SC-1A: Mineralization encountered over 6 meters, with a gold-equivalent grade of 6.76 grams per ton (6.44 grams per ton for gold, 26.62 grams per ton for silver, and 0.04% for copper);
◎SC-1B: Mineralized zone thickness of 6.3 meters, with a gold-equivalent grade of 13.89 grams per ton (gold: 4.25 grams per ton; silver: 224.59 grams per ton; copper: 5.96%).
◎SC-1C: Mineralized zone 9 meters thick, with a gold-equivalent grade of 5.12 grams per ton (gold 5.08 g/t, silver 1.24 g/t, copper 0.02%).
The mineralization encountered in borehole GS-24-184 is as follows:
◎SC-1C: Mineralized zone thickness of 6.15 meters, with a gold-equivalent grade of 8.09 grams per ton (gold 5.44 grams per ton, silver 63.77 grams per ton, copper 1.62%).
