　　To further standardize the determination of the value of mineral products extracted from illegal mining activities and the value of mineral resource damage caused by illegal or destructive mining, the Ministry of Natural Resources has drafted the “Measures for Determining the Value of Mineral Products Extracted from Illegal Mining and the Value of Mineral Resource Damage Caused by Illegal or Destructive Mining (Draft for Comments)” and the “Technical Guidelines for Investigation and Accounting of the Value of Mineral Products Extracted from Illegal Mining and the Value of Mineral Resource Damage Caused by Illegal or Destructive Mining (Draft for Comments).”

　　We are now releasing the draft for public comment and inviting input from all sectors of society. Please send your comments and suggestions by mail to: Enforcement Bureau, Ministry of Natural Resources, No. 64 Funai Avenue, Xicheng District, Beijing (Postal Code: 100812). Please clearly mark the envelope with the words “Comments Sought on Regulatory Document.” The deadline for submitting comments is 15 days after the date of this announcement; the postmark date will be used as the determining factor.
