    According to the latest statistics released by the China Gold Association, in the first quarter of 2025, the nation's gold consumption totaled 290.492 tons, a decrease of 5.96% year-on-year. Specifically: gold jewelry accounted for 134.531 tons, down 26.85% year-on-year; gold bars and coins amounted to 138.018 tons, up 29.81% year-on-year; and gold used in industrial and other applications reached 17.943 tons, down 3.84% year-on-year.
