They proposed that the six major rare earth groups should unite closely, overcome difficulties, crack down on illegal activities and black markets, safeguard the nation’s strategic resources, and maximize economic benefits. A consensus was reached on these points. Meanwhile, the draft operational plan for the Southern Ion-adsorption Rare Earth Enterprises Alliance was discussed and revised, and specific follow-up measures for implementation were studied.
