Recently, the Department of Natural Resources and Geology of Zhejiang Province issued the "Provisional Measures for the Credit Supervision and Management of Geological and Mineral Experts in Zhejiang Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"). In accordance with the principle of combining voluntary registration with appointment, the Measures establish a province-wide unified database of geological and mineral experts, implementing dynamic management of expert entry and exit from the database, as well as performance-based credit supervision. 　　The Measures clearly stipulate that experts in the expert database are categorized into chief editors, review experts, and evaluation experts; expert credit information is divided into personal information. — Regulatory information and information on untrustworthiness. Among these, information on untrustworthiness includes: failing the annual performance assessment; defaulting on fiscal-funded geological and mining projects; providing false or seriously inaccurate personal information in registration; engaging in geological and mining intermediary services and receiving disciplinary or administrative penalties for violations of Party discipline or administrative regulations; and receiving criminal penalties for violations of laws and regulations.

In addition, individuals whose personal information is false or seriously inaccurate, or who have been criminally punished for violating laws and regulations, will also be removed from the roster.

　　The Department of Natural Resources and Land of Zhejiang Province will, based on assessment and spot-check results, publish an annual announcement in the first quarter of each year listing experts who have been dismissed or removed from the roster. Experts who have been dismissed or removed from the roster will, effective from the date of the announcement, 5 No further registration or appointment to the roster is permitted within the year.
